Oven Baked Pork Chop Silog with Atcahara or pork chop silog is a pork chop meal with garlic fried rice, fried eggs, and pickled papaya. The fried rice is known as “sinangag na kanin” in Filipino, while eggs are called “itlog”.

The name Pork Chop Silog pertains to oven baked pork chop that was semi-fried, while ”SiLog” is a short term used for both Sinangag and Itlog. The pickled papaya in this recipe is just a bonus that is nice to have.
